An Introduction To Earrings

Earrings have become one of the famous accessories that all women in different walks of life and races do wear. In the more civilized world, earrings are just part of fashion statement and even making a simple good-looking woman become a head turner through wearing earrings. In other parts of the globe such as Africa and other Asian countries, earrings are part of the traditions and culture that are passed on from generation to generation. Where do earrings come from? According to some studies, earrings do came from Western Asians, which are in the form of hoops. Oldest earrings that have been discovered were found in the Middle East particularly, Egypt. With the belief  of Egyptians in relation to afterlife, preserving the body through mummification and placing it on a tomb together with the internal organs, even jewelry and other treasures right inside the tomb. Now come the application of earrings in the modern world today. Earrings have evolved over a period of time, from those made of heavy metal such as gold and silver down to the most inexpensive raw materials such as wire and beads or even mixed of gems, earrings have prove its versatility around the world. Simple pieces of accessory yet can transform the way you feel both inside and out. Whatever the occasion is might be a dinner date, a party, or just a simple walk around the park, wearing some earrings will definitely change the aura of a woman. With the many earrings that have scattered around the corner, consist of different colors, designs, shapes, styles and sizes can be simply categorized into two, namely: clip-on and pierced. Pierced earrings are the most common type that women do have. Since pierced earrings are more secured to it's counterpart clip-on earrings. With clip-on earrings it is great for young girls or women who have not had their ears pierced and yet would want to wear earrings. The most common styles of earrings are the dangling, hoop and studs which is of course in the line of pierced earrings. To make earrings look more valuable metals and gems are incorporated such as diamonds, gold, pearls and even silver. Diamond earrings are usually used during special occasions. Whatever the occasion is, earrings can be a great piece of accessory especially you want to look minimal and yet with style.
