Golden earring – Twilight zone

by admin on September 8, 2010

It's 2 am The fear is gone I'm sitting here waiting The gun's still warm Maybe my connection Is tired of taking chances Yeah, there's a storm on the loose Sirens in my head Wrapped up in silence All circuits are dead Cannot decode My whole life spins into a frenzy Help, I'm steppin' into the Twilight Zone Place is a madhouse Feels like being cloned My beacons been moved Under moon and star Where am I to go Now that I've gone too far Soon you will come to know When the bullet hits the bone Soon you will come to know When the bullet hits the bone I'm fallin' down a spiral Destination unknown Double-crossed messenger All alone Can't get no connection Can't get through; where are you? Well the night weighs heavy On his guilty mind This far from the border line When the hit man comes He knows damn well he has been cheated Help I'm steppin' into the Twilight Zone Place is a madhouse Feels like being cloned My beacons been moved Under moon and star Where am I to go Now that I've gone too far

OMG I want to go back to the 80′s. Anyone who grew up then knows what I mean. Kids now have NO idea what they missed!

@Thinkingjelle After “When the Lady Smiles” (the video) in the U.S., there was a lot of negative press and some protests at their concerts… They didn’t like that so basically never came back to tour again in America. They tour all the time in The Netherlands and still record new music. I always only knew them for Radar Love and Twilight Zone and just recently have listened to their other stuff, Their awesome, I can’t wait to see them sometime live (although I think they play acoustic now).

golden earring played some times with led zeppelin and the who. i can’t find a live version of that. they also had kiss and aerosmith in their opening from a concert. i also can’t find a live version of that.
i’m wondering what went wrong. if you read that they worked together with led zeppelin and the who and that they had KISS and aerosmith in their opening you think that they should be still famous

@RedEyePergo
because you can’t see who is the band who made the song. In Holland we have 1 radio channel where you can see what song is playing and what band. with that i always know who made the song.
